What is ALTIOS Foundation’s mission ?
ALTIOS Foundation was founded in 2025, leveraging 35 years of experience, networking and connections, aiming at making international development impacts positive for all.
How are projects selected?
Projects are sponsored by ALTIOS employees, then reviewed and qualified by our selection committee. Finally, they are submitted to a vote by our board and selection committee members. Our selection criteria include alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, project development stage, geographic location, and other internal factors.
What is skills sponsorship?
Positive impact projects require multiple skills that we know lie within ALTIOS staff, from their academic training, professional experience or personal initiatives. Skills sponsorship allow employees to volunteer their professional talents for causes they care about.
What’s the difference between People, Projects, and Charity programs?
ALTIOS Foundation operates through 3 different programs. “People” and “Projects” channel our skills sponsorship initiatives, benefiting individuals directly or through a non-profit organization. Financial donations are managed through our “Charity” program, in combination with skills sponsorship.
How can my company partner with the Foundation?
Anyone can support ALTIOS Foundation by donating to fund selected projects. Our annual report will transparently showcase the impact of every contribution.
Where do donations go?
Donations to the ALTIOS Foundation are allocated to supported projects based on a balanced distribution, or, if you prefer, 100% to a specific project of your choice. They exclusively fund projects that have undergone thorough evaluation by our selection committee, confirming their alignment with our impact criteria. Our annual report will transparently showcase the impact of every contribution.
How is impact measured and published?
ALTIOS Foundation measures its impact through rigorous evaluation of supported projects, tracking key metrics such as beneficiaries reached, sustainable outcomes, and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We communicate our results transparently in our annual report, sharing stories of change, data-driven insights, and the tangible difference made possible by our employees and donors.
