Head of Sales – Querétaro

ALTIOS International is recruiting a Head of Sales in LATAM and the Caribbean for their international client, a global leader in design, manufacturing, and solutions supply in smart measurement. With more than 120 years of experience, our client has a wide range of solutions based on data, IoT connectivity software, and smart measurement, contributing to higher efficiency, sustainability, and responsibility for water and energy management.

The Head of Sales will report directly to the International Sales Director, increasing the presence and positioning of the company in the LATAM markets.

100% remote: Querétaro

Missions

  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Leading and managing the sales team and technical team
  • Developing sales plans, setting targets, and forecasting sales volumes to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Continuously improving the sales process to increase efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Managing the sales budget and allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, progress towards targets, and market insights.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Being flexible and adaptive to changes in the market, industry regulations, and business priorities, and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

Profile

  • You have a degree in Business Administration or Management, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of experience
  • Familiarity with the industry or market in which the company operates can be advantageous.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales, depending on the company’s target market.
  • You are familiar with project management methodologies.
  • You speak English (advanced or native) and Spanish (mandatory). Portuguese is a highly recommended.
  • You are solution-oriented and focused on customer satisfaction.
  • You can execute a commercial strategy, and you have excellent negotiation skills.
  • You are autonomous, productive and self-motivated.
  • You inspire, motivate, and guide the sales team towards achieving objectives and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Finally, you can adapt to changing market conditions, overcome challenges, and maintain a positive attitude amidst setbacks, ensuring continued success in a dynamic sales environment.
