Patrick Ferron has been helping companies expand internationally since 1994. He successively builds a career in the USA, Spain, Scotland and France, working for several global advisory and business development boutiques as a consultant for the European and North American markets. Klaus always knew he wanted an international career. He started in Germany as an apprentice in wholesale and foreign trade in 1987 with an International Trading House for raw materials and then became an International Trade Manager for one of the largest Trading & Logistics companies in the country.

Klaus had his first experience working abroad when he studied International Management in Germany and Spain in the early 90s. He financed his studies by working for a Japanese Trading House (Sumitomo) and then with jobs in Spain (Rio Tinto) and Australia (BHP). After graduating he moved to New York to work in raw material trading with many trips to India. He started in Germany as an apprentice in wholesale and foreign trade in 1987 with an International Trading House for raw materials and then became an International Trade Manager for one of the largest Trading & Logistics companies in the country.

Klaus had his first experience working abroad when he studied International Management in Germany and Spain in the early 90s. He financed his studies by working for a Japanese Trading House (Sumitomo) and then with jobs in Spain (Rio Tinto) and Australia (BHP). After graduating he moved to New York to work in raw material trading with many trips to India. This was the time he realised the potential that Indian markets offer to international companies, leading him to incorporate Maier+Vidorno (M+V) in 2000. From the outset, M+V focussed on pragmatic business solutions for foreign companies doing business in and with India.

Maier+Vidorno (250 employees in India and Germany), a leader in the support of German-speaking companies (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) in India, joins the Altios Group in 2021.

In addition to his responsibilities for ALTIOS and Maier+Vidorno, Klaus is a Board Member for various European companies advising them on their international expansion strategies.
